Stainless Steel U Bend Tubes are manufactured in accordance with design and drawings.Bending radius, C to C distance and straight leg length are required for U bending tubes.

 

Tube OD: OD76mm max.

Tube wall thickness: 0.5 mm to 8 mm

Bending Radius: From 1.5 mm To 1500mm

Developed length: 25 meters Max.


Description:

 

General Manufacturing process: U Bend Tubes are manufactured in accordance with design and drawings. Bends portation could be heat treated as per clients’ requirements followed by hydrostatic or pneumatic tests if required.

 

Basic parameters for U bent tubes:

  1. The integral low fins on straight portions are allowed; please refer to our low fin tube data sheet.

  2. Marking is possible after bending on straight portions of U-bending Tube.

  3. The manufacturing process of bare tubes is cold drawn or cold rolled.

  4. The quality of bare tubes before bending is annealed, pickled and bright annealed.

  5. Acceptance criteria: inspection test plans, design and drawings, layout check.

  6. The U bent tubes are oiled or varnished for rust preventation and stenciled at ends.

  7. Heat Treatment: stress relieved after U-Bending (Bending area plus 300mm of each leg).

  8. Delivery condition: Tube ends are square cut, free burrs, internally dried and air blown clean, externally coated with varnish at both ends. The desiccants are put into each package for continental transportation as well.

  1. For pressure vessels including heat exchangers

  2. For boiler and boiler-related equipment,such as superheaters and economizers
